Location analysis of public EV charger.


For different charging places, WAIZIDA has developed 7kW-22kW intelligent AC charging pile and 60kW-240kW DC charging pile.

The construction of charging stations equipped with AC chargers or low-

power DC chargers can be build using the existing loads without additional power capacity. The speed of this chargers is appropriate, and intelligent charging, shared charging, orderly charging and other methods can be used to meet the needs of the car owner. Comparedwith the construction of high-power DC charging stations, the investment cost of this stations is lower.


Characteristics of different charging places:

1. The best place for charging business is the office building, which is characterized by a long single stay time (6-8 hours) and can effectively prevent oil car from occupying EV positions. (Using 7-22kW AC chargers)


2. The second is the residential area, the vehicle residence time is stable (stay more than 10 hours). The number of cars is easy to count, the ratio of vehicle to pile can be accurately controlled. Operational efficiency is guaranteed, but due to the relative shortage of public parking spaces and the closed scene with no external EV. The current overall average charging amount is slightly lower than that of office buildings.(Using 7-22kW AC chargers)


3. Finally, the shopping mall parking lot. Due to the large traffic flow, the short residence time of vehicles (2-3 hours), the parking space is too tight, and it is easy for oil car to occupy EV charging spot. That will cause the overall average charge level to be unstable. (Using 60kW to 240kW DC fast charging)
